Many a times we hear people saying that we should make our spouses our best friends; we do not really understand what the mind behind this means. We need trust between us for us to be friends we need quality time with each other for us to understand our does and don’ts. We will get angry at each other and not talk for a while which I advocate for because it will make the friendship stronger when we reconcile. This is because we will have made our stands known and we will try our best not cross each other’s line again.
As a woman I tend to trust men friends more as compared to women, so I believe is the feeling to most of the women, the same appears to the men. When we are looking for a life time partner we choose the one who can be a friend when the love fades; so that at least the friendship can keep us together as the love regenerates. The art of communication comes in with good friendship. We need to be able to talk to our better halves in every circumstance, when we are angry, stressed, joyous, moody not inspired to talk or any the other time that we have that feeling that cannot be explained.
So what makes us not to be the best friend we ought to be to those we love? Most of the time is because of our pride. We feel that we should remain a mystery for them to solve, yet every time they do something wrong in their mission of finding out what we are really made up of, we get extremely angry. We want to pretend that we are the best that has ever lived; we all know that angles don’t belong to earth!!
Here’s the deal make a date to make your relationship work, be the best friend you are looking for, put away your pride and be open to each other, make a good communication between you and your friend, be free and easy around them, let them feel trusted for them to give their best in the friendship… what do you have to loose anyway?
